Painting and teaching are my two passions. I believe that they are equally important and that one feeds into the other. For the past 30 years I have been painting and involved in the study of fine art. Hi Karole, Thank you so much for your comments and writing to me. When I paint our incredible desert, I am able to receive extra joy when I know how much happiness clients are receiving from hanging my paintints in their homes. If you do not receive my e-mail notices, please write and let me know your e-mail. With my best wishes, Diane

Diane - I purchased the framed print of this painting and I am most happy with it. My print is far more stunning on my wall than how this looks on line. For whatever reason, this posting does not due your creation justice. I took a very long time to hang this piece...not exactly sure where I wanted it but once I made the decision, I sit and admire your work daily. The purple and orange are magnificent together and they portray what we are lucky enough to see every single day as residents of this magical desert. Thank you for making me smile every time I look at this print.

Roberto, thank you, sometimes the mountains here in the Palm Springs area turn beautiful colors with the changing light. Diane
